Job Description:
Electronics Technician with experience designing, fabricating and
trouble-shooting circuit boards,
Experience in hand soldering is required and experience in the use of
re-work stations and reflow ovens is desired. Familiarity with test
and measurement tools such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, and
power supplies is also required. The ability to read and interpret a
schematic is required.
Experience with schematic capture software and diagramming software
for cable diagrams would be useful. Some experience producing manuals
would also be helpful. Products used include Altium Designer and
Microsoft Word, Excel, and Visio.
Must possess strong organizational skills as well as excellent written
and oral communication skills. Maintains strict confidentiality of
information. Exhibits strong customer service skills, professional
attitude, and ability to work effectively as a team member.
Must be able to work independently including committing to and meeting
deadlines, taking initiative and exhibiting excellent follow through
on tasks. Must be adaptable/flexible in a changing work environment.
Performs other duties as assigned. This job may require lifting
equipment up to 75 lbs.
Highly Required/Desired Skills:-
*3 Years of experience in Test Equipment /Measurement Tools
(oscilloscopes, signal generators, power supplies) is Required
*3 Years of experience in Hand Soldering is Required
*3 Years of experience in Schematic Comprehension / Trouble Shooting
is Required
*3 Years of experience in Experience in fabrication of circuit boards,
cables, and wiring assemblies is Required
*3 Years of experience in Re-work Stations/Ovens Highly desired
*3 Years of experience in Schematic Capture Software and Diagram or
Layout Software Nice to have
*3 Years of experience in Technical Writing (manuals, etc) Nice to
have
*3 Years of experience in Embedded system design, including circuit
design, testing, debugging, and firmware development Nice to have
*3 Years of experience in Analog and mixed-signal circuit design using
op amps, filters, DACs, ADCs, sensors, etc. Nice to have
*3 Years of experience in Various digital interfaces, including I2C
and SPI, as well as wireless protocols such as Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.
